"Life is a series of moments" - corita kent

Photography is an attempt to capture "life," to capture those moments. Whether it's just the right sparkle in the eyes of a portrait, a kiss at a wedding or the sunlight hitting a room just right. We are trying to be at the right place at the right moment.  The "art" of photography is anticipating a moment worth capturing and getting there.

A funny story
Perhaps the funniest assignment I ever had was being hired to shoot a marriage proposal. She knew it was coming and where so we arranged to have the table next to them and happened to have a camera at the ready. I guess any memory can be captured with a little planning!
